Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Cummings passed away January 9, 2024, she was 76 years old. Just shy of 77 years, Mary sadly lost her battle against AML leukemia. Mary was born in Lancaster, PA and is survived by her son David Kneisley, two grand-daughters, niece and nephew Victoria and Michael Henderson, their father Edward Henderson, and her beloved cat Emma.
Prior to settling in Apache Junction, AZ, Mary lived in Alaska where she obtained her Certification as a Nursing Assistant. Mary worked as a CNA for Visiting Angels till she was 76. Mary loved her job as a CNA and caretaker. She loved taking care of people and she did so both on a professional as well as on a personal level. Mary had a big heart and was a very generous person, always offering help to those in need.
Heaven received a special angel when Mary passed. She was truly a ray of sunshine that touched the hearts of many that knew her.
A small memorial will be held Sunday, January 21, 2024, 4pm, at a private residence.

My condolences go out to Mary’s family in the loss of their loved one. She was a one-of-a-kind person and spoke of her family with fondness. We had been friends for many years, I’d worked for her, and we enjoyed many meals together. I was sorry to hear of her passing, but know she is with Jesus now, no more pain or suffering. She is at peace with her Lord and Savior.
