Obituary
Melba Darlene Tanner, 74, of Apache Junction, Arizona; passed away on January 17, 2014 in Mesa, Arizona. Melba will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked many years as a finisher for Howmet. She was an avid cook and reader and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by both her parents, one brother, two sisters, and two step-daughters. Melba is survived by her husband Tom; her daughters Becky (David), Shawn (Kevin), and Tammy; 16 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. A small Memorial Service will be held in her honor on January 24, 2014 in Apache Junction. Another Memorial will be held in her honor this summer when she returns home to Michigan. Tom, Becky , and Shawn, and your families, I am so sorry for your loss! Melba was my best friend in the world and we shared so many wonderful times together and we both said it didn;t matter how long that we didn’t see each other, we always remained best buds She was loved by so many people because of her kindness and her positive attitude..God Bless you Melbie!
