Obituary
David Vaughn Merrell, 64 years of age, resided in San Tan Valley, Arizona. Born August 13th 1952 to Vaughn and Bessie Luana Merrell, David passed away surrounded by his family November 14th 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona.
David worked as a police officer in Prescott and Chandler Arizona for some time before his career in sales, he was a hard worker who loved to sell.
David was a loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend to all those who knew him. He loved his community and church, loved the outdoors, loved adventure and working on projects in his garage, but mostly he loved to help anyone in need. His heart was big, and work gloves were always near him just in case a neighbor or friend needed a hand.
David is survived by his five children, Jason, Scott, Mike, Phillip and Amanda; his wife, Kristy, and her three children, Jarron, Jacob and Haley. And his three grandsons and seven granddaughters.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts. You will be missed.

I had lost contact with Dave. We visited every few years. When I looked for him I was disappointed and saddened to understand why he didn’t answer my calls.
He was my companion in England 1973. We 2 Arizona boys had such a great time. He had an infectious enthusiasm that moved his associates to success and meaningful lives.
I would love to hear from his family.
