Heaven has opened its gate to accept the entrance of Nancy Ann Colvin who passed away on Sept. 14, 2019, just a few days shy of her 72nd birthday.
She was born on Sept. 17, 1946 in Seattle, Washington. She spent almost all of her life in and around Seattle, until recently moving to Mesa, AZ.
She is survived by her husband Michael, her daughter Angela Calhoun and her son Jeffrey Hansen.
She enjoyed spending time with her 3 grandsons, Austin, Jordan and Cameron.
Through her entire life she was a dedicated employee of Albertsons, GMAC, K&L Beverage, King County Parks and most of all the US Postal Service in Redmond, Olympia, Covington and Kent Washington. She was a member of Local Branch 79 and the Kent Union.
She was a loving wife and Mother. She made friends easily and they will all miss her contagious laugh and bubbly personality. She became an avid drag racing fan and made many life long friends at drag strips throughout the Northwest.
She asked to be cremated and her remains will be interned at Tahoma National Cemetery in Covington, Washington. That date is to be determined.
Any memorial donations should be made to the American Cancer Society.
