Obituary

Donald A. Rini passed in (PHX, AZ) on June 16, 2017 at the age of 82. He was born in Hartford, CT to Angelo V Rini and Agnes Marinaro.

He joined the Marine Corps and served in Okinawa, Japan.  He later attended Hofstra University and University of Connecticut; there, he played football and won numerous awards for Track and Field, which were lifelong interests. He enjoyed film as well as drawing and the arts.

He married Eleanor C. Majeski of Hebron, CT. He had a successful career as an executive at Providence Washington Insurance Group in Providence, RI for many years before retiring in the Phoenix area.

He is survived by his wife, Eleanor, daughters, Karen, Kimberly, and his son, Donald, of Mesa, AZ, and his daughter, Kristen of Redondo Beach, CA., as well as relatives, Bruce & Sherri Majeski, of S CA, and Phyllis Majeski, and Cheryl Majeski of Hartford CT, as well as a brother, Kent Rini, of Tempe, AZ.

The memorial service will take place at Arizona National Cemetery Cave Creek, AZ on June 29, 2017, At 11AM.  Flowers and condolences may be sent to 1227 N Brighton Dr Mesa AZ 85207.
