Obituary

Robert J Smith died in his home on September 8, 2020 in Coolidge, AZ due to complications with Diabetes, and heart/ lung disease. He was 53.

Robert was born on March 18, 1967 in Waukegan, IL to his parents, Danny and Kathleen Smith. He married Nancy Clinton in 2013. The Smiths moved to Coolidge where Robert worked as a handyman and Nancy was a manufacturing planner. He was dedicated to making home improvements, especially to the amazing plants and flowers in their yard. Bobby was a fun-loving man. Always ready with a smile and a big hug for anyone who would receive it. He taught Sunday school for youth at the Boulevard Baptist Church.

Robert is survived by his wife, Nancy Smith; daughters, Samantha and Tasha Smith of Fairmont, WV; his stepchildren Amber Lagunas and Sean Clinton; Sisters Dawn Maxwell and Kathy Sedall; and his beloved dog and loyal companion, Zodi. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Danny and Kathleen Smith; and his sister Diane Wolf.

Robert Smith will be remembered in a memorial service on September 19, 2020. at The American Legion in Round Lake Park, IL. All are welcome to attend and celebrate his life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Boulevard Baptist Church at 1530 S Arizona Blvd, Coolidge, AZ 85128.
