Obituary

Sandra Rose Tomidy Kamb, 78, of Apache Junction, Arizona passed away at Banner Baywood Medical Center on September 8, 2020 from complications of pneumonia.

Sandy was born on January 11, 1942 in Utica, New York to Ignatius Vincent and Bertha Anna Pyska Tomidy as the youngest of nine children.

Sandy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Richard William Kamb. In 2006 Sandy and Richie moved to La Casa Blanca Retirement Community in Apache Junction. She enjoyed decorating, art, photography, painting, visiting friends and shopping.

Sandy had a degree in business and held several jobs throughout her lifetime, but none gave her as much joy as being mom to her dog, Willie.

Sandy’s and Richie’s ashes will be scattered into the Pacific Ocean in Southern California.

Rest In Peace our dear Aunt Sandy. Until we meet again.

Although I never got the pleasure of really getting to know Sandy, I heard so many wonderful things about her. These wonderful and vivid memories will make her loss a little easier on those who knew and loved her greatly as she will live on in their hearts.

    Dearest Sandy,
We certainly had our adventures in NJ and NY and can’t forget AZ. Loved that you were not only my aunt but also my friend. We shared happy times, laughed and certainly cried. Now you are with the family, all united again in heaven. What a celebration. Miss you and will keep you close in my heart forever.

  5. Aunt San, I have tried to reach you so many times and just found out today you passed. Know beyond any words can express I loved you and you will hold a place in my heart forever. Love, love and more love Renee
