Obituary
Viola Dutchover Lambert, 72, of Apache Junction, Arizona was born in Marfa, Texas on August 20, 1952 she peacefully went home on August 28, 2024. Viola was preceded in death by her father Frank Sosa Dutchover, mother Anita R. Dutchover, brothers Ted “Butch” Dutchover and Frank Edward Dutchover. She is survived by her 7 children, Michael Lambert, Erasmo V. Jimenez (Amy), Norma J. Medina (Ruben), Loretta A. Jimenez (Tiny), Veronica D. Munoz (Nelly), Zandra D. Munoz (Valentino), and Joy Smith. Sisters, Conchita Noriega, Betty Santerbas, Anita Davis, Carol Reed (Billy), and Brenda F. Dutchover, 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Viola was a Maricopa County Head Start teacher until her retirement in August of 2009. After her retirement she continued to educate children and their families as a consultant for the Roosevelt School District Head Start, she worked there until 2020 when Covid19 closed down schools. She will be deeply missed by many including her extended family members, friends, and past students. A Celebration Of Life will be held in her honor on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 11121 E. Ray Rd., Mesa, AZ 85212.
