Obituary
William “Bill” Charbonneau, 83, formerly of Bourbonnais, IL, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, February 23, in Mesa, Arizona. Cremation rites were accorded. A memorial service is pending.
Mr. Charbonneau was born May 6, 1929, the son of the late Edward and Henrietta Charbonneau of Kankakee, IL.
He is survived by his wife, Wanita Charbonneau of 59 years, 5 children, Rachel and David Brandt of Vermont; Gisel and Fred Waide of Kankakee, IL; Karon Charbonneau of Bradley, IL; Harry and Oneyda Charbonneau of Chandler, AZ; and Bill Charbonneau, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; 12 Grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Charbonneau served in the Air Force and was employed at Valspar in Kankakee until his retirement. He was a lifetime member of the PTA, and a member of the Moose as well as the Knights of Columbus.
Bill was an avid sports fan and loved the Cubs. He enjoyed woodworking, and was also a music lover, particularly the big bands of the 40?s. He enjoyed old time radio shows and was a fan of airplanes and aviation in general.
He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his three brothers, Paul, Harry, and Edward.

Our sympathy to you and your family. We didn’t know he was ill and we just read it in the paper.
